This year the judging for the Children's Choice Award was changed.
Kids throughout NZ voted for the finalists from the long list of 149 books. Previously kids only voted for the winner from the group of finalists.
We were lucky enough to become a judge school. We also won the prize draw of 30 books for the library.
We looked at the books, decided on our favourites and voted.
Now the finalists have come out and we're voting again - this time for the children's choice winner in each of the four categories.
