COLOUR
Term 2: R1 and R5 kids are exploring colour this term.
In the library we have looked for books about colour and enjoyed reading them. We discovered lots of picture books and non-fiction books about colour, colour mixing and artists using colour. A particular favourite was PRESS ME.

We explored colour mixing. We overlapped pieces of red, blue and yellow cellophane to create purple, green and orange window hangings.

R5 students had a wonderful time creating art with puff paint (made from shaving cream, puff paint and dye). Some great new colours were produced using the red, blue and yellow puff paints.
