The Great Book Bearfest

Shackleton Bear invited visiting classes to bring their favourite soft toys to Big Book Bearfest celebrations in the Library to mark the re-opening of the Library. 
Shackleton showed his favourite book, Shackleton Bear Goes South, and invited the children and their soft toys to find interesting books around the library. It was a great way to explore the library especially the non-fiction animal section. The children were then entertained by Shackleton's friend, Earnest the balancing bear, who cycled boldly across the library balancing on a wire.
