These are two very popular picture books in the Library. Room 1 has been exploring colour and colour mixing this term. They loved reading these books about some disgruntled crayons. They discovered some more unusual colours in The Day the Crayons came Home, such as maroon, pea green, neon red, burnt sienna and turquoise.

Then the Room 1 kids mixed lots of different colours from the primary red, blue and yellow and painted some wonderful pictures and flags.
